I purchased one of these Power Up Coleman CT100U w/ Silencer for my CT100U Minibike to add a better look, a better sound & a little more torque. First thing I have to say is this is a racing exhaust & is pretty loud & it sounds nice & throaty like a Minibike should sound. The quality of the welds & fit of the header pipe is excellent & bolted up perfectly without any issues. The header flange mount where it is welded to the pipe is port matched correctly & the person that made this header pipe took there time & did it right. I also received a free braided header sleeve with my kit. I appreciate it & thank you for your kindness, because that is rare these days. The aluminum air filter mount is CNC machined & also excellent quality made. The air filter is perfectly fine for on-road non dusty riding conditions. But I am going to use my CT100U riding off-road only, so I am going to use a UNI – 2-Stage Foam Clamp On Air Filter instead for my 99cc engine. This kit includes a drill bit to drill out the carburetors main jet for the correct amount of fuel & air. I used my digital caliper on the drill bit & came up with a measurement of 0.027″ / 0.68mm & that equals out to be a #68 main jet. So instead of drilling out my main jet in fear of not drilling it out incorrectly, I just ordered a #68 main jet for my 99cc engine carburetor from AGK for $5.00. I don’t know why a #68 main jet isn’t included in this kit instead of a drill bit & is my only complaint with this Power Up Kit for the CT100U Minibike. I would recommend this Power Up Kit to any CT100U Minibike owner.

To answer your question about the jet drill vs. jet, I decided to add a drill bit instead due to the cost of the jets as you know. I found the drill bit kept the cost down and was worth the extra step. Thanks again for your business!

Great kit, high quality parts. Really makes a difference on the top end of this little bike. Be sure to heat wrap the muffler and top of the header, or you might melt the back of the seat like we did 🙂 That being said, the new routing of the exhaust is safer than the original stock set-up, especially for new riders. It also sounds a lot tougher like the big bro’s CT200. Only recommendation would be to include instructions for those not familiar with stuff like this.

This setup really wakes up the little ct100, especially on the top end. Had to put the throttle limiter back on for my littlest rider because of the increased power and speed. Great product and company.
